On Thursday 22nd June, John McLoughlin the 'Master' of our WOW Tai Chi group invited all his students from each of his tai chi groups to join together for a Chinese meal. John made some presentations on the night and one of our WOW members was awarded Student of the Year, not only of our own group but across all his groups. Well done Rosemary.
All members of the tai chi group enjoyed an awards evening out in a chinese restaurant and received their first certificates in tai chi. All members of the group have been 'certified' now as being able to achieve what is called The Simplified Form of tai chi. This is a series of movements or 'forms' that have to be done in a free flowing and a continuous movement.
Many thanks to Master John McLoughlin for his patience and tuition. Next step is 'Yang'. Its all good fun and we have all improved our balance and co-ordination which can only be good. Next step is 'Yang' ...this might take us quite a while Bead Making Jewellery Making workshop 2
