Unfortunately our speaker could not attend at quite short notice, but Jan did a sterling job of giving us plenty of notices and information interspersed with a few quizzes (including a fun handbag bingo!) and social time. Also as it was our 4th birthday, we had a small finger buffet which went down very well!
Phew! That was a lot of info - good job we had lots of time this meeting! See you at the next meeting Tuesday 7th February. Don't forget - get your drinks at the bar before 7.45!
- Jan proposed that at future meetings we should start proceedings at 7.45, enabling members to chat and go to the bar. Members would be asked not to go to the bar once the speaker or the President is speaking. We had a show of hands for this to be started from next meeting: there were no dissenters or objections.
- Membership renewals at £39 are due now and at the latest the February meeting. Places can then be offered to new members on the waiting list.
