On Wednesday 15th May, a needle felting workshop was held for members, led by Glenys and ably supported by Sandra. We were well taught by Glenys, with most of the group being new to this skill. We created butterflies, using different coloured wools, a vicious looking needle! and a sponge pad. We all found the process very pleasant and almost therapeutic, with chatting going on as we worked. Everybody produced a butterfly and we went home with materials to make another one, perhaps at a better standard second time round! Hopefully many of us will submit a needle felted insect for the County Show.
