This is very belated news (editor's apologies!) but well worth sharing nevertheless. Our WI had 3 teams in the LFWI regional Fun Quiz competition in Scarisbrick at the end of January 2019. OUr 3 teams were:-
WOW Power: Jean, Janet, Anne, Sally
Woolton Pie: Viv, Liz S,Joan, Colette
Woolton Quarry: Angela, Mo, Elaine, Barbara
All great team names, I'm sure you'll agree. But the BEST is that WOW Power came 1st and Woolton Pie came 2nd!! Fantastic success for our WI and not for the first time either! Well done all ladies who took part.
Quiz sessions take place on 3rd Tuesday evening of the month and all members are welcome.
